Norwegian players Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard may miss the game against France in the third round of the 2026 World Cup Group I.

The game will be played today, June 26, at the "Gillette" stadium in Foxborough, USA.
According to the publication, Norway's main squad will rest for the game against France. Only Fredrik Aursnes will be in the starting lineup from all the players who started in the game against Senegal (3:2). Striker Alexander Sörloth and starting goalkeeper Eryan Nyland will also be on the bench.
After two games in the group, Norway has six points and is in second place. France, with six points, is in first place. Both teams have advanced to the playoffs.
The group stage will be held from June 11 to 27. Teams play each other in a round-robin system (each team plays three games). The top two teams from each group, along with the eight best third-place teams, will advance to the playoffs.
