"Neftchi" player Emin Mahmudov spoke about the team's winter training camp. Sport24.az reports that he made a statement to the club's press service about this.
The member of the Azerbaijani national team stated that they will perform better physically in the second half of the season:
"We just started. We have more physical training now. We are trying to do it. Because we had physical problems in the first round. We will do our best to prevent this. God willing, we will make a better physical impression in the second half of the season."
The experienced midfielder did not hide that he missed training and matches because he was away from the green fields for a long time due to injury:
"My injury recovery took a little longer. I thought I would start training with the team after 1-2 weeks. But some problems arose. I missed both training and matches very much. I will try to regain my form and help my team."
The 32-year-old football player also shared his impressions about the meeting with "Sabah" on the 19th of the month:
"We have 2 weeks left until our game with "Sabah". We continue our physical and tactical preparations. We have to perform better in the second half. Because we have cup games. I hope there will be good results."
