It is planned that Elkhan Samadov, the president of the Professional Football League (PFL), who had an accident on the road to Khankendi city, will be operated on again in 3-4 months.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to report.az that this was stated by Sanan Abdullayev, Media and Marketing Director of PFL.
According to him, doctors are monitoring the condition of E. Samadov:
"All procedures are currently ongoing. Another operation is planned in 3-4 months. Doctors are keeping it under full control to avoid any difficulties. Everything is going well now."
It should be noted that the incident occurred on December 16, 2023, on the section of the Yevlakh-Aghdam-Lachin road passing through the Aghdam region. A "Mercedes Vito" car driven by Rasim Gafarli, a resident of Baku, lost control and crashed into a road sign while driving towards Khankendi city. As a result, PFL President Elkhan Samadov, Vice President Aslan Shahgeldiyev, Executive Director Zaur Haji-Maharramov, Media and Marketing Director Sanan Abdullayev, Technical and Sports Director Elgiz Abbasov and driver Rasim Gafarli sustained various injuries.
After the incident, E. Samadov underwent surgery several times.
