Davide, the son of famous Italian expert Carlo Ancelotti, has stepped out of his father's shadow and started independent activities.
Lent.az reports with reference to foreign media that he has become the head coach of the Brazilian club "Botafogo".
The Brazilian Super League-2024 champion has appointed 35-year-old Italian coach Davide Ancelotti as head coach until the end of 2026.
"Botafogo" is the first team Davide will work with without his father and coach Carlo Ancelotti. He previously worked as his father's assistant at Real Madrid, France's PSG, Germany's Bayern Munich, Everton (England) and Napoli (Italy).
At Botafogo, Davide Ancelotti replaced Portuguese Renato Paiva, who left his post after losing to Palmeiras in the 1/8 finals of the Club World Cup.
However, the son is not far from his father. Father Carlo was recently appointed head coach of the national team of this country.
