Danilo Beskorovainyi, the Ukrainian footballer of "Sumgayit", believes that his team did not deserve to lose in some of the games they played in the Misli Premier League.
The 27-year-old defender explained the reason for the team's "black streak".
"In my opinion, the first reason is the psychological factor. Because we want to qualify for the European Cups and there are many teams close to us in the standings. There have been games where we didn't deserve to lose. But unfortunately, we couldn't get the result we wanted. In the last matches, we have been declining and we need to get out of it. I think we need to unite even more and show our maximum. There are still 10 rounds ahead, each of us must play with our maximum strength and act as a team to get out of the "black streak", he said in an interview with report.az.
D. Beskorovainyi touched upon the match against "Shamakhi" in the 24th round:
"We want to win every game, but we are currently experiencing a small crisis. I hope that in the match against "Shamakhi" on Friday, we will be able to please our fans with the victory they have been waiting for for a long time".
The Ukrainian footballer, who moved to "Sumgayit" in January, added that they have a good team:
"There are many promising players in the team from an individual point of view. I feel very good here. I also like the city of Sumgayit. I had no adaptation problems. My teammates welcomed me well. They are all very friendly people. That's why I thank them".
It should be noted that after 23 rounds, "Sumgayit" is in sixth place in the Misli Premier League with 32 points. The team last defeated "Karvan-Yevlakh" in the 18th round - 2:0.
