Miroslav Kubek has left his post as head coach of the Czech national team. The Czech Football Association has decided to part ways with the 74-year-old coach by mutual agreement. According to Sport24.az, the local association's press service has announced this.
Kubek took over the Czech national team in December 2025. Under his leadership, the team qualified for the DÇ-2026 by overcoming the playoff stage of the selection stage. However, the Czechs performed poorly in the tournament.
Note that in the group stage of DÇ-2026, they lost to South Korea (1-2), Mexico (0-3) and drew with South Africa, finishing last.
