Cristiano Ronaldo's sister, Elma Aveiro, has responded harshly to critics of her brother after the match against the Congo DR national team. Sport24.az reports that she made a post on her social media account:
"We used to say, 'He's old, he can't do it anymore, he's done' - didn't we? Where are all these critics now?
Those who hate him will say it was just a coincidence. But what happened? Silence. Now I want to see the faces of the hypocrites. He shut all of you up".
Note that Ronaldo scored a double in the match against Uzbekistan (5:0) and made a lasting impression.
