Bournemouth is close to strengthening their squad with a new player in the summer transfer window. According to "The Athletik", the Premier League club has made significant progress in negotiations for the transfer of Elche striker Alvaro Rodriguez.
The source reports that the transfer will cost the Premier League club 30 million euros, including bonuses. The agreement provides for Bournemouth to pay the Spanish club an initial 25 million euros, with the remaining 5 million euros to be paid as a bonus.
The 21-year-old Uruguayan forward is expected to sign a 5-year contract with his new club.
Note that Alvaro Rodriguez scored 7 goals and made 5 assists in 36 official matches for Elche last season.
