Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Jens Castrop has changed his sporting nationality from Germany to South Korea. Sport24.az reports that the FIFA website has published information about this.
The Düsseldorf resident was born to a German father and a Korean mother.
The 22-year-old footballer previously played 4 matches for the German youth team. The midfielder, who signed a contract with Borussia on July 1, 2025, previously played for Nürnberg and Köln.
It should be noted that Castrop played in 26 matches for Nürnberg in the 2024/25 season, scoring 3 goals and 4 assists.
