The Düsseldorf resident was born to a German father and a Korean mother.
The 22-year-old footballer previously played 4 matches for the German youth team. The midfielder, who signed a contract with Borussia on July 1, 2025, previously played for Nürnberg and Köln.
It should be noted that Castrop played in 26 matches for Nürnberg in the 2024/25 season, scoring 3 goals and 4 assists.
