Saudi Arabian "Al-Hilal" football club's French striker Karim Benzema has made a statement regarding a possible return to "Lyon".
Idman.Biz reports that during a live broadcast on social media, the 38-year-old Frenchman stated that he does not intend to play for the club, where he was raised, again as a player.
However, Benzema did not rule out the possibility of being represented in the leadership of "Lyon" after the end of his career.
Karim Benzema played for "Lyon"'s main team from 2005-2009. He scored 66 goals and made 25 assists in 148 games in all tournaments for the French club. The striker then transferred to Real Madrid.
