Barcelona have transferred 18-year-old Ecuadorian winger Josue Caicedo from LDU Quito. According to Sport24.az, this was reported by Diario Sport.
According to the source, the Catalan club will loan the left-back with an option to buy for $2.5 million later.
Caicedo will initially play for Barcelona's B team.
Note that this is the first step of the 18-year-old Ecuadorian player into European football. He has already played 10 games for LDU Quito's main team and is considered one of the most promising players in his position in South America.
