"Barcelona", facing "Real Madrid" in the Spanish Super Cup final match, has achieved a historic success.
According to Report, the Catalan club has managed to score four or more goals twice in games against "Real Madrid" for the first time in its history. The previous match between the teams took place within the Spanish Championship at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium and ended with a crushing 4-0 victory for the team led by Hans-Dieter Flick.
In the semi-finals of the Spanish Super Cup, "Barcelona" proved stronger than "Athletic" (Bilbao), and "Real Madrid" defeated "Mallorca".
In the current season's La Liga standings, "Real Madrid", led by Carlo Ancelotti, is in second place with 43 points. The difference with "Atletico", which is in first place, is one point. "Barcelona", which is in third place on the list, has 38 points.
