Shamil Gazizov, General Director of Makhachkala's Dynamo football club, has confirmed that Azerbaijani clubs are interested in Iranian footballer Mohammad Javad Hosseinnejad.
Idman.Biz reports that Shamil Gazizov spoke about this in a statement to the Russian media.
"Javad has one year left on his contract. Of course, we have to decide - either we will extend the contract or he will leave the team. There are teams interested in him. There is also interest from Azerbaijan. But I will not name the clubs," said Shamil Gazizov.
It should be reminded that some time ago, the Russian portal "Legalbet" wrote that Azerbaijani clubs "Neftchi" and "Qarabag" wanted to transfer Iranian footballer Mohammad Javad Hosseinnejad.
22-year-old Mohammad Javad Hosseinnejad has played 26 games in the Russian championship this season, scored four goals and made one assist.
