Being named Defender of the Year by the official website of the European Minifootball Federation is an incredible feeling.
This was stated by Vusal Isayev, a member of the Azerbaijan national minifootball team, who was named the best defender in Europe, in his statement to "Report".
He said that being awarded this title by the European Minifootball Federation is a source of pride:
"This is a special moment for every football player, every athlete. Being named Defender of the Year by the official website of the European Minifootball Federation is an incredible feeling. I don't intend to stop, I want to continue training and repeat my success".
V.Isayev said that they want to perform successfully at the world championship to be held in Baku this year:
"As you know, the minifootball world championship awaits us in Baku this year. We will also try to show ourselves in the best possible way at the Mundial. We will continue our training at the highest level and want to make our people happy".
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan national minifootball team won the European Championship held in Kosice, Slovakia in 2022.
