"The team gathered and started training from the first days of January. In the preparation process, we are trying to implement the plans we have set." Sport24.az reports that these thoughts were expressed by the head coach of "Kapaz" Azer Bagirov in an interview with the club's press service.
The specialist added that the winter training camp went well:
"Thank God, we continue training without injuries. This is one of the most important points. I like the performance of the children in training. They work hard. We continue in this way. We will finish some physical exercises by the 13th of the month. The team must be ready one week before the championship game."
Azer Bagirov also shared his thoughts on the test match against "Qarabağ":
"We released a different squad in both halves. We wanted our players to play under more pressure. Despite everyone being on the field for 45 minutes, it was important for them to take on more loads. You know that our squad is not that wide. Therefore, it was planned that the players would fight in such a situation. This was to improve their performance both physically and mentally. I think the players showed themselves well, I liked the fight."
