Ayxan Huseynov's early goal from "Turan Tovuz"

Today, the 1/8 final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup kicks off. Sport24.az reports that two matches will take place on the first match day.  

"Shahdag Qusar," competing in the First League, will test "Turan Tovuz." As the stadium of the Shamakhi Olympic Sports Complex, where Qusar club holds its home games, is not suitable for hosting the 1/8 final stage matches of the cup, this meeting will take place at the "SOCAR Polymer Arena" in Sumgayit. 

The second match of the day will take place in Zira. In the central match of this stage, the settlement's namesake representative hosts "Neftchi." 

It should be noted that the 1/8 final stage consists of one game. The VAR system will only be applied in matches where participants of the Misli Premier League play each other in this stage.
