Idman.biz reports that Aslan Kerimov said these words in his statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced specialist spoke about the restriction of the activities of the "Gabala" Football Academy: "The restriction will harm the development of players. This is to the detriment of Azerbaijani football in general. As a club, "Gabala" cannot be blamed. If there are financial difficulties, we cannot say "they should not do this." The restriction will unequivocally harm "Gabala" and the development of children in that region. I cannot say how to get out of this. Limiting the activities of the "Gabala" academy, which has such an infrastructure, is a matter of finance. Therefore, it is impossible to interfere in the work of the club. I don't think it's right to blame the club management and the people working there. What can they do if there is no money? But unequivocally, the decision will affect the development of children's football in Azerbaijan."
It should be noted that the "Gabala" Football Academy announced yesterday that it had temporarily limited its activities.
