AFFA held an online meeting with the licensing managers and academy directors of the clubs competing in the I League. Sport24.az reports that the main topic of the meeting was the Needs Analysis and Support Process for Academy Development.
This process was essentially presented as a key mechanism ensuring more efficient implementation of the requirements reflected in the club licensing regulations.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the relevant structural units – Seymur Salimli, Head of the Licensing and Registration Department, Seyran Kerimli, Head of the Club Licensing Department, Sarkhan Huseynov, Coordinator for Children's and Youth Football, coach-coordinator, and Fuad Safarov, Chief Expert on medical issues.
At the event, extensive information was provided on identifying the development needs of academies, increasing compliance with the requirements of the licensing process, methodological support mechanisms for clubs, and innovations related to medical issues. At the end of the meeting, an exchange of views was held with representatives of the participating clubs and an action plan for the next stages was discussed.
