The head of the Women's Football Department of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), Zumrud Aghayeva, has received a new appointment from UEFA. According to the official website of the association, Sport24.az reports that she will work at the final stage of the European Championship among women under 19, which will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina from June 27 to July 10.
Aghayeva will work as a UEFA representative in a total of 8 matches of the tournament. The AFFA official will be in charge of the matches of group A: Sweden - Poland (June 27), Bosnia and Herzegovina - Sweden (June 30), Poland - Bosnia and Herzegovina (July 3), and group B: Austria - Iceland (June 28), Austria - Switzerland (July 1), and Spain - Austria (July 4).
UEFA has also trusted Zumrud Aghayeva with the decisive stages of the continental championship. Thus, she will be a UEFA representative at the semi-final of the U-19 European Championship on July 7 and the final match on July 10.
