A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between AFFA and the Pakistan Football Federation in Washington, the capital of the United States.

It was reported that AFFA President Rovshan Najaf, who is visiting Washington, the capital of the United States, to participate in the draw ceremony for the 2026 World Cup, met with Mohsen Gilani, President of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF). During the meeting, AFFA and PFF signed a Memorandum of Understanding providing for the expansion of cooperation in the field of football.
The purpose of signing the document is to strengthen partnership between the national associations of the two countries, develop football and further strengthen international relations. Within the framework of the Memorandum, the parties will cooperate in the organization of training camps, holding friendly matches between national teams of different age groups, supporting women's football, futsal, beach and disabled football, as well as exchanging and training referees.
This agreement will not only serve to develop football in both countries and create new opportunities for young football players, coaches and referees, but will also give impetus to further strengthening friendship and mutual trust between AFFA and PFF.
